Nurturing global citizens
Imparting a ‘holistic’ education implies that children should develop a world view which allows them to accept and adapt to diverse cultures from around the world. It is this vision of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’, or ‘the whole world is one family’, that forms the basis of Amity’s unique and pioneering endeavour, Amity Educational Resource Centre (AERC). Established in 2002, with an aim to bring the world to Amity and take Amity to rest of the world, AERC has evolved as a chalice of global values and knowledge. It carries out extensive research, conceptualises, designs, organises, coordinates and launches new innovative projects in India and abroad through collaboration and partner-ships with various international bodies. Amity International Model United Nations conference (AIMUN) is the flagship pro-gram where students across the world congregate at Amity Cam-pus to deliberate on global issues. AERC has educational partnerships with almost 30 countries and fosters global citizen-ship and leadership through plethora of programmes like school exchanges and workshops, Oxford Global MUN, Wharton Global High School Investment Competition, Talk with a diplomat, Nurturing Leadership programs, etc. I am convinced that all Amitians, empowered with the global perspectives facilitated by AERC, will be the future change makers the world needs.

My mission is nation building through education and beyond
Each one of our students will be a success story. This is my dream; this is my commitment.
Amity is not just a group of institutions which imparts world-class education, but an experience where everyone associated is part of a dream, a mission to see that we nurture truly great leaders.
In my over 30 years stay in West Germany I realised, through interacting with the over 6000 Europeans working for me, that we Indians have the intelligence, the talent and the potential to be the more successful people in the world. That is why we established the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation in 1986 to start institutions which will groom young future leaders to be complete, value-driven human beings and competent professionals with a deep passion for humanity. These will be the people who will lead the world.
Today, we are proud that Amity is synonymous with practical, industry focused education, and attracts the best students. The fact that our alumni are working in the best companies across the world is a testament to our extremely talented faculty who inculcate, by example, in each student the spirit of dedication, sincerity and loyalty, and to all the corporate who support our mission with so much enthusiasm.
